[SOLVED] Unable to delete e-mail

Just in case anyone else follows this thread. Live Mail will not run in safe mode, so I had to find the inbox folder and delete the file directly. This did not work (access restricted) in normal mode.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry, forgot to say I am using Windows Live Mail and obviously none of the above work, BUT ran Live Mail in safe mode and "Bingo" e-mail deleted. Brilliant Thank you very much.

I recently received an e-mail infected with Agent.xm Trojan horse. AVG Free detected and deleted the threat, but I am now unable to delete the original e-mail. All attempts to modify, move or delete are denied despite having full access rights on my machine. Even using command prompt "del"...
