Re: Random Blue Screen Crash ntoskrnl.exe +75c00

There are enough signs here that that I have to wonder about this installation. Should this be a pirated copy of Windows, please be aware that we may not be able to fix it (as the hacks that were done to activate it will cause the OS to behave differently than we expect it to). If that's the case, our efforts to help may just waste your time. Secondly, the forum rules prohibit assisting with pirated software - so the topic would be closed if that is the case.

Your BIOS dates from 2007. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

Only 113 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Both memory dumps appear to be STOP 0x124 (from the WER section of MSINFO32).
These are typically hardware problems - but can be due to some low-level drivers also.
The error actually occurred in the L1 cache on the processor.
I didn't see any known problem drivers in the memory dump
So I'd have to start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Re: Random Blue Screen Crash ntoskrnl.exe +75c00

Did an overnight run of memtest86+ All Ok
    Windows update error-ed out on Kb982018 (8007065E)
Goggled the error and had to download the file from Microsoft, After it was installed 2 more batches of updates appeared.

So far the crash has not reoccurred

Re: Random Blue Screen Crash ntoskrnl.exe +75c00

I spoke with the owner of the computer and was informed it was doing the same thing on the xp install

At point hardware failure is the only reasonable answer and due the age I am advising a motherboard replacement
