I've run a sfc /scannow and found 3 files that cannot be repaired (all related to Virtual PC). The files are vpcsettings.exe.mui vpcvmm.sys and vpchbus.sys. I have the files on another computer (which are not corrupted). When I try to copy them it tells me I don't have the ownership. Try changing it but I still can't copy them. If someone could help, I would appreciate it. I have files on that XP system that I really need to access (old work system). Thanks ! Melanie

Don't know if it's the uncorrupted files that I tried to copy over the corrupted ones (it did tell me that I didn't have the rights to do so, even if I changed the ownership). But for now, it's all good. Thanks for trying to help, I really appreciate it ! Melanie
