User System Specs

Upon request we have added user system specs below your posting information on the left side of your posts...

To add this to your profile go to: Settings -> General Settings(Or click this link)

To enable System specs select Yes on the "Show System Specs?" Option.

From there fill out your hardware the best you can... Note: Blank fields will not be shown!

We currently allow you to list:
  • System Manufacture(OEM)
  • Model Number(OEM)
  • Motherboard
  • CPU
  • Memory
  • Graphics
  • Sound Card
  • Hard Drives
  • Disk Drives
  • Cooling
  • Case
  • Displays
  • Power Supply
  • Operating System

If you would like any additional fields please suggest them here...

If you find any errors feel free to report them here or in our Site Trouble Report Forum :smile9:

What about franken-mods?:lol:
And/or slots for Netbook/Notebooks! :grin1:

Seriously... How about adding a hardware sub-section for customization/modification and other such projects!

Given the strengths and experiences of many of the people here, why don't we try to major on stability; keeping it simple, cool, quiet, non-distracting - so we get to concentrate fully on work or play :cool3:
 
For me, work and play are the same thing!!!!

Very nice Laxer! I would suggest the Cooling or Other category. As a gamer and overclocker, the cooling section is very important. And other can be used for a myriad of items.

That is also very useful info. Is it possible to link Speccy Somehow at the bottom of the info page so that the noobvious can actually fill out the specs properly?
 
I am at school right now but will be going in and making a few edits tonight when I get home...

Current additions:
  • Cooling
  • Monitors/Res
  • System Manufacturer/Model Number(OEM)
  • Speccy Link

I will have to use some REGEX to force the speccy link to be correct but it shouldn't be too hard...

I added:

  • Model Number(OEM)
