Just to clarify in case people don't know, the article is referring to dealing with embedded intel processors like the Atom. I'm not sure if this applies to standalone ZIF processors like your regular laptop/desktop CPU, but the idea is the same, just be careful that the details may be different. Microsoft's Ntdebugging blog has an article on 0x124 bugchecks here that links to Intel papers on MCi status codes related to non-embedded intel CPUs, so that may be worth a shot there too. Still, good to check up on mobile platform debugging given that they're becoming more and more prominent.
