Now I get: "We can't tell if your PC has enough space to continue installing Windows 10. Try restarting Setup." Huh? I have 850 GB free. Do setup logs show anything? And guess what - Create a Recovery Drive doesn't recognize it. It could be the issue described here: Recovery Drive for Windows 10 Doesn't Recognize USB Drive - Microsoft Community. Come on, Microsoft! In any case, I haven't given up. I'll try this path over the holidays.
