I ignored the problem for a while but have tried troubleshooting it myself this weekend, I had some corrupted files when i did a sfc scan, but those seemed to have cleared up through the sfcfix.exe program. I've uploaded the txt file that came from my most recent scan using that program and it reveals 497 SRUT corruptions which seems to be my problem. I've tried downloading the KB947821 SURT tool and it says its unable to install the hotfix, any ideas? CBS Logs and TXT file Windows Update Logs - Google Drive

Once the cmd program is found, right-click on it with your mouse and select Run as administrator as shown below. 3. Answer Yes when asked to allow. 4. You should now have a black window open that you can type in to. 5. Please type chkdsk /f and then press enter. 6. Chkdsk will start to run. Please allow it to finish. 7. Download ListChkdskResult.exe by SleepyDude and save it on your desktop. If it's already downloaded to your desktop, just skip this step. 8. Right-click this file and select Run as administrator (Allow if prompted)and a text file will open (and also be saved on the desktop as ListChkdskResult.txt). Please copy the contents of this file and paste into your next post.

I had to schedule that it check the disk upon next restart but it still seemed to work after I restarted it, not sure if there's any issue there or not. Windows Update Logs - Google Drive

Identify your drive in the list, and double-click on it to bring up it's window (usually you'll find your drive by it's size or it's brand name); Go in the Perform Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete); Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Download and run Process Monitor approximately 1 minute before the error occurs. 2. Try installing the update (SURT) just like you have in the past. 3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below. 4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine. 5. Zip up and attach the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop. Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one. 2. Right click to run as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer. 3. Please ensure you place a check mark in the Addition.txt check box at the bottom of the form before running (if not already). 4. Press Scan button. 5. It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should now be the desktop) 6. Please attach the log back here. 7. Another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST64.exe) will be generated Please also attach that along with the FRST.txt in your reply.
