Found SFCFix.exe and went through it as it is laid out and am left with this diagnosis. Would someone assist in helping me resolve these corrupted file issues. T tangobravo Member Joined Aug 14, 2018 Posts 13 Aug 15, 2018 #7 Attempted in clean boot state , Choked on 1st update which was a ms rollup where it seems to get to a point and then seems to meet resistance with no further progress. I attempted clean boot install via stand alone installer with the same result. I did however yesterday get one update to stick though it was not a rollup. All of the updates in the queue presently are rollups.

Seems to be stalled? Maybe upgrade to Win 8.1. Would like Win 7 until it loses Microsoft support but also desire to apply MS updates although it seems that it just doesn't want to accommodate . In you experience, is this a current prevalent problem of Win 7 with no apparent solution. I did install Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 - August 2018 (KB890830) Installation date: 8/16/2018 10:59 AM by selecting single selection update.
