F FULKRAM New member Joined Aug 9, 2018 Posts 4 Aug 9, 2018 #1 Hi there, I'm reinstalling my OS as it was getting a bit unstable. I have all the device drives and programs installed fine. It's just windows update that keeps crashing. I've got as far as KB4054518 and that seems to crash the system. On system restart after the update it goes into diagnosis mode and gives a text dump showing "f:\hal.dll is corrupt" and I have to restore to just prior to this update. I think I've followed your instructions on posting so far, so please find attached the dump files from steps 3 & 4. Thanks in advance.
