It look like I have managed to post this reply to another post
I suspect I have done this before when I asked if you had given up on my system
I will have to be bit more vigilant when posting data.

Yes, but I have requewsted a fresh copy, so it's okay, I have now told you twice already that I would like you to try updates and attach CBS.log if any fail.

5 Failed updates
Silverlight seems to be the problem I don't use or need it I can uninstall it and try again ?

Okay I removed silverlight and updates still failed
I then remove all Microsoft Visual Studio
All update succeeded

I suspect all these problems occurred because of my changes to the Registry Default Application paths
Microsoft does say that it does not support doing that I should have headed the warning
I will be a bit more careful in the future
I think we can close this problem
