B badbrain New member Joined Mar 23, 2018 Posts 4 Mar 24, 2018 #3 DISM always does its job if i specify an alternative scratch directory f. e. dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth /scratchdir:d:\scratch. DISM normally creates this directory in C:\Windows\Temp for temporary files during an operation. What could be the reason? Does anybody have an idea?

B badbrain New member Joined Mar 23, 2018 Posts 4 Mar 25, 2018 #4 So, i finally was able to fix the problem. DISM now works as it should without error 193 and the inplace-upgrade also ended successfully. Thread can be marked as solved and closed.
