My solution was:
- Export from Registry the key (and all of it's subkeys) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cbfltfs4 to a file (*.reg)
- Delete the key and all of it's subkeys.
- Deactivate Nomadesk in taskmanager from autostart
- reboot
- do your windows updates. Worked perfect for me, installed to 1709 without any problems.
- after all restarts from the update, import the exported registry file from above into the registry.
- activate Nomadesk in taskmanager for autostart.
- reboot
After all, Nomadesk started as usual and all data was still as before the update.
I am not sure if the next major Windows Update will cause the same error, maybe yes. But my machine is now on an actual release and i am satisfied.
Maybe that helps you.
Best regards
