    Step#1 - FRST Fix
    NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
    1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
    Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
    2. Download attached file and save it to the Desktop.
    Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
    3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
    4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
    5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.


    Afterwards, try updates and if any fail, attach CBS.log.

    I officially give up on FRST64. When I click Fix, the Fixlog appears on the Desktop in about 2-3 seconds and FRST continues to run with the message "Fixing in progress, please wait..." I ran this right after you posted yesterday and it continued to run for another 90 minutes until I killed the process. Restarted the computer, deleted the fixlog file and and ran it again. Same result. So I repeated all the steps from yesterday and the same thing is occurring. FRST has been running over an hour and no end in sight. FYI: When the log file first appears on the Desktop its size is 1.06MB. It is now an hour later and it is 1.76MB. Just for laughs I attempted the same optional update that I posted yesterday and it failed with the same error message. Attached is the zipped CBSLog file:

    Sounds like your AV may be interfering. Try repeating the FRST process from Safe Mode with AV disabled.
    All the important updates have been installed successfully, so this is not a major issue. We can spend more time fixing this and we can stop here. Up to you.

    Personally....I'd like to get it fixed because error 80073701 was involved in the first of the updates to fail. If you' rather not, I understand. If you ever decide to change your avatar, I attach one for your consideration.

    Let's continue:

    Remove Update Manually
    1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
    2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
    3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, press enter
    wusa /uninstall /KB:4019264

    4. Let me know if it says it was successful or if there are any errors.

    What I find interesting is searching the computer with Everything, that patch is installed. When I search the registry there in excess of 4700 Keys with that update number (patch).

    Step#1 - FRST Fix
    NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
    1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
    Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
    2. Download attached file and save it to the Desktop.
    Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
    3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
    4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
    5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.


    Afterwards, try updates and if any fail, attach CBS.log.

    Remove Update Manually
    1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
    2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
    3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, press enter
    wusa /uninstall /KB:3185330

    If there's an error, please do a registry search for it using FRST and attach SearchReg.txt

    Step#1 - FRST Fix
    NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
    1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
    Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
    2. Download attached file and save it to the Desktop.
    Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
    3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
    4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
    5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.
