Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
    1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
    2. Attempt to upgrade your Windows 10 to the latest version just like you have in the past.
    3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below.

    4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
    5. Zip up and attach the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log.

For some reason running process monitor is causing the system to run out of memory and stop the upgrade around 40% the first time the system just blue screen crashed which it never does.

I'll have to try again tomorrow I've got to be up for work in a few hours.

    1. A couple things to try. You can ensure you do a Clean Boot before running Procmon and attempting the upgrade.
    2. If that doesn't work then you can try selecting Options within Procmon and then History Depth...and changing from 199 million to 10 million.
    3. If that doesn't work then you can try to select File...Backing Files... and using a file instead of memory to record the events as shown below.

Just following up to say I've been swamped with work this week and I'm gone on vacation this coming week but I am taking the system with me so maybe I'll get a chance to reply next week.
