J JohnVerv New member Joined Sep 6, 2017 Posts 3 Sep 6, 2017 #1 Hi all I've been battling with a problem system for a while now and been hacking away at it with CheckSUR and SFC I have just finished sorting out the missing payload files (there were alot!), and am just left with afew missing manifest files. I am however unable to find replacement copies of these files. SFCFix for some reason doesnt seem to download the required DB \ updates (or it is just unable to fix the issues) SFCFix log here: SFCFix version 3.0.0.0 by niemiro. WARNING! The following fix is specific to the user's system in this thread. No one else should follow the instructions below to apply that fix, as it could damage your system. Download the attached archive file, Packs.zip and save it on your Desktop. Once it's downloaded, right-click on it and select Extract All.... Check the Show extracted files when complete checkbox, and click on Extract. On completion, a folder will open with the folder Manifests inside it. Copy and paste the files of the Manifests folder inside C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\winsxs\Manifests. Run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again.
