    Re: [Win7 x64] Unable to install SP1.

Yes, makecab reduces the filesize by compressing the old CBS file.

    Add Missing Package
    1. Click the Start button and type cmd.exe in the search box.
    2. Right-click on the cmd that comes up and select Run as administrator.
    3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following line and hit enter.
    pnputil -a C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_modemcsa.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_7620f8db64823fb5\modemcsa.inf

Let me know if it says successfully installed. If it does, try to install SP1.

    Re: [Win7 x64] Unable to install SP1.

    HI,
    Bigger problem now...
Since i am constantly deactivating avast to install SP1, i must have downloaded something, i don't know when, which redirects me when googling to another site : something like us.search.yahoo.com
Even when i am on a webpage, this virusthing changes fonts to a link, and when you tick on it , it redirects you again and so on....
I have not added your last package, because i wanted to know what to do.
I have done hours on scanning with Malwarebytes, Adware removal kits, Kaspersky,...nothing helps...

Very disappointed at the moment pf course...
    Any advice ?

    Re: [Win7 x64] Unable to install SP1.

    Hello,
I know it seems like we are not making progress, but we are, little by little.

    Add Missing Package
    1. Click the Start button and type cmd.exe in the search box.
    2. Right-click on the cmd that comes up and select Run as administrator.
    3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following line and hit enter.
    pnputil -a C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_sdbus.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_cdd7ae6ae4081881\sdbus.inf

Let me know if it says successfully installed. If it does, try to install SP1.

We will try this a couple of more times. If it then doesn't work, we'll take a different approach.
