A month ago I was forced to use ComboFix to remove some malware.
Things looked fine and dandy, until I noticed that my HP printer was not behaving as normal, like like levels were not displayed anymore and such, plus other minor things like start menu search not working properly.
I tried to install again my printer Drivers but to no avail, since I kept getting a "warning 1909, could not create shortcut.lnk" error, even if said shortcut was already created! And besides, the printer was not working anymore, apps like Word or Acrobat correctly "see" it, if I try to print something the system replies I have no device installed (!)
I figured out that there's something wrong with the OS, so I tried sfc /scannow and then SFCfix, but apparently the only corrupt file its finds is img0.jpg, a wallpaper!
Can someone help me?
