S SBG Contributor Joined Jun 7, 2017 Posts 81 Jun 7, 2017 #1 Hi 2017-05 cumulative update has been failing consistently on my machine with the following error: 2017-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4019472) Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712) It goes up to 9% completion, stays there for considerable time, then moves to 10% and within a short time (few seconds) gives error. I tried running SFC /scannow command, which results in: Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service. I then executed the DISM command: dism /online /Cleanup-Image /checkHealth which gave the message that component store is repairable. I subsequently executed the dism with /restoreHealth option, which completed with 'restore operation completed successfully' message. Subsequent dism execution with /checkHealth option said 'No component store corruption detected'. The update still fails after 9% to 10% completion. I downloaded and executed the SFCFix, the output is attached here. I will shortly upload the CBS logs. Please help. Thanks Subodh Attachments SFCFix.txt 1.6 KB · Views: 5
