I've run SFCFix which (initially) found correctable problems and now runs without any errors. However, these patches will not apply and, although I've had a look at the CBS outputs, I don't want to attempt to make changes without proper guidance as I don't do this every day. From what I can tell there are a number of patches which don't seem to be correctly applied. Since I "inherited" this machine, I have cleaned it of all malware and other extraneous junk. SFC /SCANNOW shows errors but they all appear to be "desktop.ini" files that can't be repaired from themes which I don't care about. I must be missing something so would appreciate your assistance. This is the CBS Export for your information Thank You
