[Win10] DISM says corruption; SFC says clean

I originally posted this in another thread, not realizing it would be better to create my own. I also cannot figure out how to edit my original post. I did not intend to thread-jack, and avoided mucking up the other thread with a second post apologizing for it.

Without further adieu, here's my original post:

I joined this forum just to comment and hopefully get some decent, relevant help, on this exact issue.

My machine used to boot in under 30seconds before the Creator's Update. Now it takes over 3 minutes to get to the login screen, and another 3 minutes after I log in!

I did like others have done; ran sfc /scannow (came back good) and then dism command.

SFC /Scannow said no issues whatsoever.
DISM says there's one instance of corruption.

I've read and re-read the dang dism.log

I can't find a single reference to an actual file that is corrupted.

In desperation, I deleted the dism log file and re-ran dism.

It still claims there is corruption.

The dism.log file still doesn't appear to me to tell me what file is corrupt.

Is there another log file I should be examining?

I also checked the CBS.log file, and see it clearly states there is a single file that is corrupted... but once again, WHAT FILE!?!

I tried to get dism to use the media creation tool downloaded files to a USB drive-
I tried to get dism to use the DVD I burned from the media creation tool-
I tried to get dism to use the pristine, perfect, ISO file I downloaded directly from a nice M$ employee that tried to help me-
always says it can't find the sources.

So I decided to simply run setup.exe from the USB drive. It re-installed Windows 10 on top of itself. The problem is still there.

I wiped the whole dang drive and ran setup.exe from the USB drive. The problem is still there.

I wiped again, ran setup.exe from the DVD. STILL THE SAME PROBLEM.

I am so frustrated right now, as this is a 3 month old laptop that was totally dominating everything I had ever thrown at it. Stupid me, believing M$ when they said Game-Mode would increase FPS in GTA:V. Shortly after actually using that feature, the machine started having major issues. Now, I'm here!

NEW EDIT:
So after perusing the forum here a bit, I realize I should be able to locate the issue in the CBS.log file. After scouring the huge beast (mine is 8megabytes and growing by the second), I located a few lines that say ERROR.

Specifically,
failed to perform store corruption detect and repair operation. [HRESULT = 0x800f081f - CBS_E_SOURCE_MISSING]
Download error: 0x0800f0948 [CBS_E_SOURCE_MISSING_FROM_WU_CAB]
Failed to clear CorruptionDetectedDuringAcr store corrupt glag (slow mode trigger). [HRESULT - 0x80070002 - ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND]

I also can see now it says:
CBS Manifest Corruption: 1
everything else in that list says 0

So I think my problem is a manifest file is corrupt. The manifest only existed in a Windows Update file that is no longer on my machine for whatever reasons.

Now, how the heck do I fix this?
I also did a full system backup immediately before writing this post.

(If the actual logs are requested, I will happily send them over. As-is, the two logs combined are about 10megabytes now.)

Further discoveries:
My cursors refuse to use shadows.
I have Intel onboard gfx. Searched online, found out I should run the driver at full spectrum and disable the colorization modifications I did. So, I did all that. Still won't show shadows on the cursor. It works until I close the Intel window.

My Spotlight lockscreen doesn't change.
I searched online, found instructions to turn it off then back on. It worked until another reboot occurred. This is actually the initial issue that caused me to search in the first place. This is how I discovered DSIM and the 'errors' on this machine. This is what led me to notice the stupidly-long boot times.

My notifications don't fully appear.
In the lower right corner, the window that pops up when you have a notification; much of the time it appears with the lower half off screen.

UPDATE:
My cursor issues seem directly linked to a plethora of things.
In no particular order:

I modified the colors on-screen through the Intel Panel- Saturation and Gamma.
I had selected the 'Dark' option for Windows backgrounds.
Acer includes a 'color enhancer'.

Setting the Intel Panel to defaults, Windows to the blinding 'White' background option, disabling the Acer Enhancements.... somewhere along the line the shadows came back and are persisting through reboots! Yay!

-1920x1080 Touchscreen @ 15.6in
-Intel Core i7-6500U CPU @ 2.5GHz (2.60) <--- Windows says this. What is the 2.6 for?
-Integrated Intel HD 520 GFX <--- Windows says this. I could have sworn it was different numbers before the Creator's Update..?

wacky hardware ish:
Separate USB Bluetooth dongle to run normal Bluetooth devices, as my integrated Bluetooth adapter has SCP Kit installed to it so my PS3 controller works properly in GTA:V
Separate USB Network adapter with integrated 3 port USB Hub (Asus brand, bought with Asus Nexus 7 2013 tablet)

External USB 3.0 Seagate 1TB Hard drive

EDIT AGAIN:
My laptop actually has Intel HD Graphics 620
Wonder if that's part of the issue?

So I looked up my machine on the Acer website... looks like the Creator's Update mis-identified my machine... trying to figure out how to fix it now...

Now I've got the Intel Processor Identification Utility.

It also claims the CPU is a i7-6500U

Strange though... as it also says it expected to see 2.50 GHz and is registering 2.99 GHz.

This chip is a Kaby Lake, and appears to have loaded/been identified as SkyLake...

How the heck do I fix this? Even the Intel utility is reporting it wrong now.

Ok, so I uninstalled all my drivers that should have said Intel somewhere on them.

Rebooting it now.

Let's see how bad I screwed this up!

Upon reboot, it had the blue screen and

another automatic reboot, another blue screen

another automatic reboot, and it says it's repairing

another reboot, PC did not start correctly
I hit restart, realized no mouse no keyboard... had to touch the button with my finger tip..?
