We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet". Internet connection is fine. Windows Defender can connect, download and performs signature update just fine, but somehow Windows Update cannot connect to Update Service. Version is Windows 7 Home upgraded to Windows 10 Home, current version is 1607, OS Build 14393.0. Last update was performed by manually download Windows 10 Updates Anniversary Edition. No update since then. This PC used to have CCCleaner but now it has been removed. Things I've tried to no avail: 1. windows update troubleshooter 2. dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth 3. sfc /scannow 4. SFCfix The SFCFix log only contain this: SFCFix version 3.0.0.0 by niemiro. Start time: 2017-01-12 19:51:06.600 Microsoft Windows 10 Build 14393 - amd64 Not using a script file. AutoAnalysis:: SUMMARY: No corruptions were detected. AutoAnalysis:: directive completed successfully. Successfully processed all directives. SFCFix version 3.0.0.0 by niemiro has completed. Currently storing 0 datablocks. Finish time: 2017-01-12 19:51:27.304 ----------------------EOF----------------------- CBS.zip is attached. Any hints or directive is apprieciated! If it's an internet security suite, it could include a firewall function. Then, try to disable the firewall (or the firewallS, if you are using two of them) and re-try (if this won't work after a reasonable amount of time, some minutes?, re-enable the firewall).

R rizky Member Joined Jan 12, 2017 Posts 5 Jan 29, 2017 #6 Additional Info: If I go to Start - Setting - Update and Security - Windows Update - Advanced Options, then checked-in the option to "Give me updates for other Microsoft products", the process takes time before it check marked, about 1 minute. If I leave and revisit the page, the option return to unchecked state.

Run Windows Repairs Download Windows Repair (All-in-One) Portable to your desktop. Once the file is downloaded, right-click on the file on your desktop and choose Extract All... Keep the defaults and click the Extract button. A folder named tweaking.com_windows_repair_aio will be extracted to the desktop. Once the extraction is complete the folder will open. Inside this folder, there is a folder named Tweaking.com - Windows Repair. Open this folder as well. Double-click on Repair_Windows.exe to open. Note: Please make sure all of your programs are closed and anything you were working on is saved as we will be rebooting. When the program opens, click the Reboot to Safe Mode button at the bottom of the screen. Answer Yes to allow. Once rebooted into Safe Mode, open the program again. When the program opens, click the Repairs tab and click the Open Repairs button. A backup of your registry will be made. After a few moments you will have many options from which you can choose. Please click the Unselect All button and then click to enable only the following ones: 17 - Repair Windows Updates Ensure the Restart check box is selected and click the Start Repairs button in the lower right of the screen.
