I'm ever so sorry but i'm not computer literate so please bear with me.
On another post on here, i asked for help because my pc has had new parts fitted etc but since i have had it back, (windows 7) windows did about half a dozen updates then stopped.
Corrine on here asked me to follow a couple of links she had put on the bottom of her post to which i followed............however, that was me lost because there was so much information and my last remaining brain cell packed it's bags and left me !
One of the things i did succeed in doing was Niemiro's thing, SFCfix...................

I also did a screen shot of my windows update too...........
Now i know it says, check for updates, it is set to automatically check everyday 03.00 but it doesn't.
Also, when i manually click check for updates, all i get is the horizontal bar going backwards & forwards and nothing happens.
I have done a screen shot of all windows updates too here (sorry Corrine, i thought it was half a dozen.....it's a few more than that)
Any further info that is required, please let me know but most of all...........
