I cant seem to figure this out for the life of me. I have her unit in my possession currently. I have searched all over on the internet and tried the windows update diagnostic tool after each of the fixes I have ran across but it always comes up with a red x on the first option which is telling me Windows Update error 0x8024402C. Upon searching for this code online I have come across numerous articles talking about windows update being blocked by the proxy, however all my proxy stuff is clear and there isnt anything in the host files clogging me up. Any help would be appreciated! She can only postpone for 4 hours at a time and she is really getting flustered by it. Thanks in advance! Edit: Added computer type
