[SOLVED] Windows 8.1 updates fail to install including security and other important updates.

Hi all,

Since i installed Windows 8.1 i tried to download and install available updates they fail. I tried to download and install 5 at a time some installed and some not.

I spend days trying to install these updates but no success. i have ~42 updates need to be installed (security and other important updates).

I follow a thread and i tried SFC /SCANNOW, SFCFix.exe and ListChkdskResult.exe after these i tried to install one update related to IE11 but no success.
I uploaded cbs.zip. this cbs has errors after failed update.

I can't edit the post so i made quick reply,
I reinstall windows 8.1 Pro 64bit today and after this Windows update taking long time to check for update.
Is it normal as i have to wait all night for it or i have to do something?

Yes, until you are completely updated with updates, it is common to take a long time to check for updates.

- No. It's NOT normal. You're not the only one who has this problem.
- Try this guide:

Solve Windows Update problem (High CPU & memory usage)

Although it's written for a Win 7 system, it also contains instructions for Win 8 users.

- In that regard I don't consider this to be "Solved".
