Windows 8.1 Updates are failing to install

Ever since the KB2990967 update, on every restart it install updates up to 98%, then fails to install and undos all changes that were made. Quite frustrating since I can't keep my OS up to date and my restart times are considerably long. Was wondering if anyone (psst Go The Power) could help me solve this, as other people with similar issues have been helped successfully. Thanks for anyone who can help me out.
