Windows Update 800B0100 error even after System Update Readiness tool

Tried installing some updates (KB3085607, KB3055034, KB3085609, KB3001652, KB3042058, KB3097966, KB2952664, KB3083710, KB3093983, KB3093513, KB3080446, KB3080079, KB3088195, KB3083710) through Windows update and got some error codes, one of them is 800B0100.

I downloaded and ran System Update Readiness Tool as help system suggested but I still get the same error.

I performed a clean boot to avoid any program or process interrupting the reparation. Then, I followed the instructions on this technical note. I still get the same error.

I am running 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 on a dual-boot Acer Aspire.

I ran SFCfix and here is the log file for that:

I zipped the CBS log file but I can't seem to attach it here. The upload tool just spins and spins but nothing is ever uploaded.

Retrieving the COMPONENTS Hive
Follow the instructions below to retrieve your COMPONENTS Hive and send me it.

Open your Windows Explorer, and navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\Config folder;
In this folder, find the COMPONENTS file (there's no extension), and copy it to your Desktop;
Note: If you receive an error message saying that the COMPONENTS file is in use, restart your computer and try again. If the error message persist, let me know.
Right-click on it, and select Send to... and choose Compressed (zipped) folder;
Upload the file on Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive and post the download URL for it here;

Uninstall a Windows Update - Command Prompt
Follow the instructions below to uninstall a Windows Update manually via the command prompt.

On Windows Vista & 7, click on the Windows Start Menu, then enter cmd in the search box, right-click on the cmd icon and select Run as Administrator
On Windows 8, drag your cursor in the bottom-left corner, and right-click on the metro menu preview, then select Command Prompt (Admin);
On Windows 8.1, right click on the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner and select Command Prompt (Admin);
Enter the command below (you can copy/paste it, to paste in the command prompt, right-click inside it and select Paste):

Let me know the outcome of the command: either it uninstall the update or either it says that the update isn't installed on the system;

WARNING! The following fix is specific to the user's system in this thread. No one else should follow the instructions below to apply that fix, as it could damage your system. If you need assistance with an issue, please start a new thread and someone will assist you shortly.

Follow the instructions below to fix the errors reported by the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT);

Download the attached archive file, Packs.zip and save it on your Desktop;
Once it's downloaded, right-click on it and select Extract All...;
Check the Show extracted files when complete checkbox, and click on Extract;
On completion, a folder will open with two folders inside it, Manifests and Packages;
- Copy and paste the files of the Manifests folder (if there are any) inside C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\winsxs\Manifests
- Copy and paste the files of the Packages folder (if there are any) inside C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\servicing\Packages
Run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again;
On completion, attach the log located at C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log in your next reply;

All good. Weird, SURT didn't report the missing keys that it reported in the first log. Let's run it again. If they appear again, I'll make you add them.

System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) - Scan
Follow the instructions below to run a scan with the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) and provide a log;

Download the right version of SURT for your system;
- Your version of Windows is:
Once downloaded, execute the installer, and go throught the installation (this process can take around 15-20 minutes);
On completion, a log will be created in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log;
Attach this log in your next reply;

Note: Please note that the CBS.log is volatile, which means that if you don't upload it after the SFC scan is completed, it won't have the information from the scan anymore. So archive it and upload it as soon as you can.
