I generally just put my computer to sleep and don't restart it much so it took me a while to figure out that the updates had been failing for the last few months. I have tried a few things: Chkdsk = no errors sfc /scannow = no errors sfcfix = no errors I have attached the sfcfix log file. View attachment SFCFix.txt The CBS file will follow shortly (it is big). Thanks for your help.

Again, let us know your results!! :banghead: Click to expand... Hi, Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. I followed the instructions and resolved all of the errors except one. I've decided to just bite the bullet and upgrade to windows 10. I was really hoping to put it off for a while longer, but I think that will just be the quickest resolution. Thanks again for your help.
