The thread on https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/11923-corrupt-msdtc-log-file-after-sfcfix.html with a fix of C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-com-dtc-runtime_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_0a1162f033fa01f6\MSDTC.LOG says "Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread". So I cannot use this fix for my problem, with another MSDTC.LOG file: C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-com-dtc-runtime_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.17415_none_0a5dfdcc33c06e7e\MSDTC.LOG Is there a fix for this specific MSDTC.LOG...? Hope you can help me. Thank you! Joost.

Upload the file on Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive and post the download URL for it here; Note: Please note that the CBS.log is volatile, which means that if you don't upload it after the SFC scan is completed, it won't contains the information from the scan anymore. So archive it and upload it as soon as you can.

(2) In Dropbox you will find the new cbs.txt: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wskoq5zsi96zrjt/cbs.txt?dl=0 It looks good (no cannot repair's any more!). (3) The other file that was fixed: can it be harmful? Do I need to system restore from before-fixing (a couple of hours ago) and run the other fix again? THank you very much for the quick actions and repairing the error...! Attachments SFCFix2.txt 2.6 KB · Views: 1

As long as it's not throwing errors (and it didn't in the CBS.log), you'll be fine. I doubt it ever will throw some anyway. And no problem, you're welcome :)
