Could you provide the link to your bleepingcomputer thread (to see what they have tried with you)?
Did you just try to restart the laptop? (I think this is yes, but sometimes it isn't so obvious...)
Does your tablet get the same internet connection as your laptop? (as above)
IObit Malware Fighter 4 free or PRO?
Are you using Mcafee Antivirus or Mcafee internet security (or total protection)?
If the latter, are you using Mcafee firewall or windows firewall?
Did you try to disable the firewall (just the time to check if internet works, 5 minutes...)?
Are you using the wireless signal or are you using an ethernet cable (from your pc to your modem router)?
If the latter, did you check if the ethernet cable is still correctly plugged in the ethernet ports (PC/router)?
Did you modify the HOSTS file?
Are you using proxy, vpn, peerguardian, peerblock, ipfilters or any other exotic applications?
