Hi.
(
c:\windows\cursors is the folder in object, and it's present on windows 10 and it seems also in windows 8/8.1... On 7, vista, xp, etc, I'm not sure)
Five methods (choose the one you prefer, I've tried to put the simpler ones first):
1) Use the backup I said to create in your previous thread
2) Try the usual command to be run from an elevated command prompt (although I'm not very sure it will work):
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
3) Copy the entire folder from another windows 8/8.1 machine (same version, if possible: win8pro updated to win8pro updated, win8.1home not updated to win8.1home not updated, and so forth)
4) Ask a friend of yours to copy it and send it to you (also in this forum, maybe someone has got your same version)
5) Download/create the windows 8/8.1 media from MS link I gave you in your previous thread and extract that folder (yes, it should be possible...)
I'm using
win10x64home, but you can try to use this as
the very last resource:
win10x64home - cursors folder (click) - click on
slow download.
