Hello guys!
I just bought a i7 4790k and a ASUS z97-A and still get really high dpc latency at times, idling around 1000 with peaks now and then. And now for some reason it's idling at 4000.
I've had this problem for 1 year and I'm still trying to find a solution to it, super sad that a new motherboard and cpu couldn't get it right.
(I am running Windows 8.1)
So, this is my latencymon drivers section right now:

I've tried writing the click think in the cmd, disbling C1E, EIST & turbo boost(HPET ins't availble) in bios & without better latency. BUT, the settings gave inpact and I got around 20us up to 5000us without those settings(still unstable).
I think this problem started a little while after I installed my Corsair h100i but I am not sure, could it be something to do with the USB on the h100i?
Maybe my HDD is getting old?
I beg you, please help me out with this as it's making me go nuts.
