game incomatable with win 7 home

I would like to know if anyone has a program that runs win 95/win 98 programs on a windows 7 computer, or if there is such a program.

I am trying to run GEARHEAD GARAGE,it is an older game but I enjoy it a lot, maybe someone knows of a simular game? but I tried it on win 7 and it is incompatable with most hardware I am sure.

Will this work for all win 95/98 games?

It should, but I haven't tested it myself.
FWIW - I ran compatibility mode on a Vista system (way back when) to install a WFW 3.11 game (Omar Sharif bridge) - and it worked just fine. Each game is a bit different, so if it doesn't work - don't be surprised.

If a Windows game actually is 16-bit, it will no longer be supported, period. There are also issues that may be involved that are different per game.

If the aforementioned solution still does not resolve your issue, your best bet is to use a VM with Windows 98.
