Server 2008 Web-based ACP

I know, it's the Win7/Vista forum, but we don't have a server forum for questions, just tutorials. Besides, Server 2008 is the 7 version of the server OS, so I figure worst-case I get yelled at.

Anyways, I know with 2003 Microsoft used to provide a web-based ACP that would allow you to administer the server like cPanel does. Problem I'm having is that I can't get the "Microsoft Web Platform Installer" to recognize the installation links from the Microsoft website. So, does anyone know where I can get the interface for IIS 7/7.5 or a free third-party interface, I'm not paying for cPanel for a school project...
