I recently upgraded my computer to windows 7 and I've had choppy and stuck audio sounds which spoils my vocals in music recordings. I saw your web page on "How to Diagnose and Fix High DPC Latency Issues with WPA" by niemro https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...c-latency-issues-wpa-windows-vista-7-8-a.html I've noticed the sound on both Firefox and Chrome to be very choppy. In addition sometimes the sound get's caught and I hear a very irritating extended sound of a musical note or voice being played. That lasts a few seconds. I followed the instructions Sysnative provided. The DPC the Latency checker confirmed the problems I'm having. I then downloaded the Microsoft Windows Performance Analyzer from the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) as instructed and followed the installations. On the next step - click start orb, type in CMD and in command prompt type I get the following results: C:\Users\user>xperf -on DiagEasy xperf: error: NT Kernel Logger: Access is denied. (0x5). C:\Users\user>xperf -d %userprofile%\Desktop\trace.etl xperf: error: NT Kernel Logger: The instance name passed was not recognized as v alid by a WMI data provider. (0x1069). I never proceeded to the last command because it appears the first two failed. Can someone help me? Thanks! Steve
