I have run a troubleshooting thing on win7 for hardware problems. It says it detected a problem but never explain the problem nor fixed it.I hope this drive is not going out. It is burning something on the discs but when I put the discs in it asks me if I want to burn a disc. I don't know what is going on. I'm usually pretty good at finding and fixing my computer problems but every now and then I get stumped, like now. Thanks

(e.g. 4x-16x) Try using ImgBurn to write your files to disc, try using the default burn speed for now. The Official ImgBurn Website

Afterwards I put it back in to see if it would play. It did play all 5 videos. Now when I put it in, Windows wants to know if I want to burn a disk. It physically shows on the disk that something has been burned to the disk. Could it be a loose connection? I was having trouble with the original disk player because it would not read dvd's. I then bought the same one from Ebay. It was working well until lately.

E.G. - What program are you using to burn the disc and what are the steps you're using? What type/format disc are you creating - a Properly formatted DVD video disc, a data disc, an ISO? I don't mean what type of blank media are you using.
