    if i clean one windows 10 partition i will lose the other partition.

    Cleaning should not affect any partition. Neither will formatting, for that matter. Cleaning should just get rid of the clutter and not affect any programs. Formatting will delete all the files on the partition, but the partition (all the partitions) will be unaffected.

    If you intend the clean command in diskpart (windows utility), that one deletes everything (data, partitions, et cetera).

    If you clean in diskpart....all partitions will be deleted. You can format a partition.
