[10v1709b16299 x64] DPC Routines lead to Audio Dropouts

    Hi guys!

I'm having massive DPC issues with my new laptop (and many others, but the DPC flat out hold me off from producing music) and i couldn't find conclusive help anywhere so far (not even on the HP Support Forums) so i would really appreciate any help you guys might wanna give me! :)

    1. Laptop (HP Power Pavillion 15-cb0xx)
    2. 2PX82EA#ABD
    3. Windows 10
    4. x64 (64bit)?
    5. Service pack? Don't know
    6. Windows 10
    7. OEM version (came pre-installed on system)
    8. Probably early 2017
    9. The original OS was installed around June 2017, i reset it about 3 days go
    10. Not fully reinstalled, but reset (via windows)
    11. Intel i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2,8GHz, 4 Kernels
    12. 16GB DDR4 RAM, Dual Channel (2x 8) don't know how to see the manufacturer
    13. Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti (4GB)
    14. MotherBoard - (if NOT a laptop)
    15. Power Supply - brand & wattage (if laptop, skip this one)
    16. Seems to be disabled.
    17. Windows Security and McAfee
    18. No proxys whatsoever.
    19. No Imaging Tools.
    20. No overclocking.

I also added the two latest LatencyMon Readings!
The speccy link is here. Since the trace file seems to be too large even zipped to upload as an attachment i uploaded it on tinyupload - if thats a problem or anyone got another solution please let me know!
    Tinyupload
I'll just add here my post from reddit, but please just ask me for additional information i can provide!
    I'm really desperate and lost!

    Best wishes

Re: DPC Routines lead to Audio Dropouts

    Hi Rhythmuskorb.

Speccy and HP links are broken.
Post also dumo free portable (click) results here (menu action, export, text file).
    Rhythmuskorb says thanks for this.

    Hey Xilolee!

Thanks so much for your answer!
This Speccy Link should work now!

The HP Link works for me, but somehow links to the wrong Laptop..
The Full name is "HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xx"

    Cheers!

E:/ I've just noticed that the Speccy results seem to be in german - is there any way to change that without having to change the OS language (even though i wouldn't mind
having my OS in english tbh).

Try to update all items in device manager (right click, update driver, search automatically).

Re: [10v1709b16299 x64] DPC Routines lead to Audio Dropouts

    Re-post the new dumo report.
    Reinstall Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver (Windows 10 v1709) 6.0.1.8228 Rev.C Nov 8, 2017 (click).
Reinstall Intel Wireless LAN Drivers 19.60.1.2 Rev.P May 17, 2017 for HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb013ng (click).
(Links found in Software and driver results for HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb013ng, the link you provided).

Consider to try the ethernet cable, if this won't work.

Re: [10v1709b16299 x64] DPC Routines lead to Audio Dropouts

    Hey Xilolee,

thanks for your repeated tries to help me! I've attached the new DUMO-Report and will be trying today to manually update the remaining drivers.

LatencyMon still tells me that there are problems with Audio, doesn't matter if Wifi is enabled or disabled, if there are any programms running or not or even if
im using the interface or not. It is also suggesting that (besides the DPC/IRS issues) CPU and BIOS may be the culprits (Wdf01000.sys and ACPI.sys still seem to be
    the highest disruptors).

I am kind of cautious updating trying to update my BIOS though, since last time it only seemed to make matters worse - what do you think about that?

Plus i feel like disabling CPU-throttling could be the way to go (Wdf01000.sys is related to Windows Core Management afaik) but i couldnt find a way to get into these settings for Hyper-Threading, C-states and so forth
(e.g. by accessing a BIOS which actually lets me change stuff). I already tried the windows in-built power settings and that didnt bring any results.

    Any idea on that?

appreciate you trying man ! :)

Re: [10v1709b16299 x64] DPC Routines lead to Audio Dropouts

    Hey again,

sorry, i was moving and therefore couldnt answer you. Still appreciate you trying! The link you provided seems to be a downgrade form what i currently have (atleast thats what the installer tells me).
I still feel like this is a deeper problem concerning mostly the BIOS and the CPU States.. Do you think it makes any sense to send it to the manufacturer?

    Cheers
