Is there a default new password or an Admin or Guest account/password I can use, please? Should I roll back to 8.1 and install 10-compatible drivers before upgrading again from DVD ISO?

Brian shares my conclusion I should roll back to create a local account under win 8.1 https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/17286-modern-set-up-host-stopped-working.html I will also try to update Realteck driver before I try to install win10 again any advice please?

R Rossco4 Member Joined Oct 10, 2015 Posts 12 Oct 25, 2015 #3 worryingly, the 'go back to previous build' has been going for hours now, dots circling, 'restarting' I'm tempted to pull the plug and try to install win7 from scrach then try to upgrade to win10 from there

R Rossco4 Member Joined Oct 10, 2015 Posts 12 Oct 25, 2015 #4 setting up a local account and giving it admin rights under 8.1 allowed me to get into win10 but continuing Ethernet / Realtek issues - despite win10 drivers etc, it just wont connect - I am again tempted to roll back to 8.1 unless I find a solution quick
