That is a virtual adapter feature do you use the virtual part of the adapter?
For example a virtual adapter relates to a virtual environment. That means, you can create a second (imagery) wifi card. Usually used to create a hotspot and allow other devices to connect to your computer and share an internet connection. u have a password for only one device. You then connect your other devices (smartphones, tablets) to your computer, all that using one single wifi card.
If the feature is no something you use then you can safely uninstall the VIRTUAL adapter.
Go to Control Panel> Device Manager> Network adapters click the small arrow you will see several items listed including Broadcom 802.11 network adapter and Broadcom Virtual WIFI adapter.
Delete the Virtual Adapter being careful to NOT delete the 802.11 adapter, since it is the actual wifi card. Any Virtual adapter can be safely deleted.
After Installing Win 10 there is a Microsoft Virtual hot spot device you can DL and install if it is something you might use.
