Windows 10 allows you to create a user account for each person who uses your computer or device, so that you can keep things separate between users. Obviously, each user account has a password that must be typed in order to login. If you need to change your password, because it has been compromised or just because you want to, you should read this article. We will show you how to change the password of a Microsoft account, in Windows 10, as well as the password of a local account.

Re: Collected Links: Windows 10 Tips

Hi all - I just added a link to a guide for "in-place repair re-installations" of Windows 10 over in the Windows Tips & Tricks forum.

I'd wondered if the in-place method would still be available for 10, and it turns out there are currently four methods available. While I prefer clean installations, for troubled machines the in-place re-installs (when successful) can prove useful time-savers. The folks over at WindowsTenForums were nice enough to create the guide [good thing, because it might take me a week to type all that information].

    Here's the link:
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade - Windows 10 Forums

    Cheers!
