Hello Sysnative Techs,

I have tried to update manually by using Windows Assistant and I receive this error code (0xa0000400). So my other option is to run the Windows Media Tool and run the ISO. But I am worried that my Tobii Eye-tracking Software that handles my Windows Hello will break. Like it did in with v1803, until Tobii had a fix months later. Can anyone tell me if my System is being blocked from this update by Microsoft? And if so why? Could my Hardware. Drivers be holding this up? I have updated the Bios to the latest and tried updating what I could in Device Manager.

Appreciate any help available.

Thanks in Advance

Hi, do you still need assistance with this?

Hello softwaremanic.

Thank you, yes I would appreciate your help. I just thought I could figure it out myself but I can't. Any advice? Or what do you need?

I'm not home right now but will be later this afternoon.

Tia!

The most logical explanation is, you have not made it to the list yet, as MS rolls it out to the computers, not all of them receive it at the same time. If you wish, you can download it manually and upgrade that way.

Sounds good then. Dell Support told me just now the same thing basically a few minutes ago. Also alot of Dell users have called Dell support for issues with this update support told me as well. So I m not in a hurry now.lol

Thank you so much for your response!

Softwaremaniac, I finally got the Windows Update v1809. I deleted the Software Distribution Folder and then opened up Windows update Troubleshooter, disabled all security programs and wallah! Went back to Windows Update and in an hour or so I was updated to latest version. I had to re-enter my WiFi password after the upgrade/restart and then I was back online. Haven't discovered any more issues. So I'm relieved to have this WU finally.
