R rachel7041 New member Joined Sep 12, 2013 Posts 4 Sep 12, 2013 #1 I have ran windows update and it downloads Vista SP1. It takes me to the welcome to the Windows Service Pack 1 screen. I agree to the terms and it quickly says it installed. A little while later it downloads the update again.Please help!!!!

Next you can try the full file download of SP1 (Vista) Found here: Download Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Five Language Standalone (KB936330) from Official Microsoft Download Center Make sure to run it with elevated privileges from safe mode. If it completes in safe mode, reboot to normal mode and install it again (This is a Microsoft recommendation...not sure why) If it fails again, we will have to take a look at your %windir%/logs/cbs/cbs.log Deek
