Hi guys,
I am a newbie and when I registered myself to this forum I had mentioned that I have an issue with my windows 7 64bit laptop and I would properly ask for help later. I am now asking for help from anyone who could help me please and the problem is that for some reason my windows update keeps updating four critical updates and after updating them, when I go and check to see if they have been loaded into my system, these updates are not really loaded in the system and after awhile it asks to update these same critical update files again and this keeps going on and on. Then weeks later microsoft sends more other updates to update and the other updates loads into the system except for these particular four updates. Could anyone help me with this if there is a solution , I will greatly appreciate it. These are the 4 updates these keeps asking to update below.
Kind regards
Ajalon

Hello again :)

Please download this tool: .NET Framework Cleanup Tool User's Guide - Aaron Stebner's WebLog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs

Open cleanup_tool.exe, click Yes twice, then under the Product to Cleanup dropdown, select .NET Framework 4. Click Cleanup Now.

Once done, re-install .net Framework 4: Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Center

Re-check for and install all Windows Updates (some of the .net 4 updates you have previously successfully installed will need to be installed again), and fingers crossed these 4 will not repeatedly return again :)

Good luck!

Richard

I am really happy to have helped :)

And don't worry about the delay! Seriously, we all get tied up in work and other activities sometimes :)

And thank you. This forum already has high server costs, and your donation will be extremely gratefully received so that we can be sure to keep running through the next year and beyond.

Thank you again, and I hope you have a great day! Enjoy Windows Update :p
