Hello. I have a problem with update Windows Server 2022 (cumulative 2025-05/KB5058385).
When I start update, it reach 100% installing, but then it fails with error 0x80073701. I tried several times SFC and DISM, and also remove content of SoftwareDistribution and Catroot2 folders. Did not help.

I followed instructions here and done all the mentioned steps: Windows Update Forum Posting Instructions

Thank you very much for any help!

There is a link for download my CBS logs: "CBS" (CBS.zip) is available for download

Hi @trnx,

Welcome to Sysnative Forums!

If you haven't already, please review the posting instructions here, and attach the requested log files. Without log files, our helpers will not be able to assist, and this will slow down fixing your machine.

If logs have been already been provided, our team of volunteers will analyse the provided log files to build a fix for your system. Please be aware that this may take several days from your initial post, due to the high volume of threads that we receive.

Okay, please post also the result of the first run: Ran by Administrator (04-06-2025 11:11:24) Run:2
You can find the previous log here: C:\FRST\Logs

The folder is blank.
I run it twice because when I run it for the first time, the Windows Deffender did something and I saw a small notification, but the notification was not presented in notification panel on the right side. In Windows Defender there wasnt any record about blocked file. After that I ran it again for sure.

Please run the steps in post #11 again to perform a new search for the same KB number.

Ok, I tried update and it failed (same error). I attached a new CBS log. Also did a steps from post #11 again.
