I need HELP!!! :banghead: Back in July I noticed my Windows Updates/Window Defender would not update. The windows update icon was missing from the systray too. I started searching. Run Mr Fix it, Windows Update Troubleshooter....you name I did it. Then I came across this site and found a fix! I downloaded the SFCFix and it worked! I decided I didn't want the Windows 10 update so I uninstalled KB305586 and KB2952664 as suggested.
Fast forwarding a few weeks, the Update Icon is missing again, I cannot download/install updates. And Windows Defender will not update. Back to the drawing board. I have tried everything .....the troubleshooter, Mr Fix it, checked to see if all my settings were correct and I even downloaded the SFCFix, again. That shows nothing is corrupted. I have no log files so I couldn't do the CBS folder. I checked the Update folder and it says there are no updates found.
When I bring up WU the Install Windows 10 icon is stuck on there. I click on view available updates and there are tons of them. I select a few and click on OK and it should read 2 updates selected but nothing. I am sending a screenshot of that, the SFCFix txt and another log I hope helps. I am hitting my head against a brick wall :banghead: I am totally confused  as to what to do. I hope you can help me.
Thanks!!

Thanks to no one I was able to get Windows update repaired. I had to to do the sfc/scannow many times and 2x in safe mode/command prompt. Also did the MS diagnostics and Mr Fix it several times. But it was in System Services I noticed the the Windows Drivers had been stopped. I reset the BITS to automatic (slow start) and the drivers to Automatic and Windows 10 logo is no longer there and updates work!! I did have one update fail KB3078601. When I tried to manually install it the results was it didn't apply to my computer. I think it is for NETFramework 3.5 or whatever it is. I have Netframework 4.5. All is working except the updates are as slow as molasses to download :noidea:
