Good night

The pc at my work place is having problem.

Windows Update: Did not work with error code 0x80004002.

sfc /scannow: Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth:
Error: 0x80004002
No such interface supported.

In-place update with windows 10 iso did not work either.
Cannot view windows feature and installed windows update,
Cannot update to windows 11
Sometimes the equipment starts with the word 'wait' and remains 'stopped' for many minutes until it starts.

Thank you for your help in advance! ;_;

  • Press the Fix button.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally.

Hi .

I have executed the first step.
And as the screen shows, the file called SFCFix.txt has not been generated.
It's been like this for 12 minutes.
I haven't done the second step yet.
Am I still waiting?

Thanks

Hi.

The application has indicated that it needs to be restarted.
When it restarted, Windows started waiting for the updates to finish.
It has already restarted

Should I take any more steps?

Thanks.

Hi.
This time everything was executed quickly
The command DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth has had the result that it has been completed successfully

Is it advisable to upgrade to Windows 11?

I attach sfcfix.txt, cbs.zip

It seems to be updating correctly.

Any more steps?

Regards.

Great, when this system meets the system (hardware) requirements for Windows 11 you can upgrade. But I would then create a full system image first, so you can always restore the system when you don't like Windows 11 or when it's causes problems!
