Hey everyone. I cannot install updates with Windows Update. Error code: 0x80073701
Update attempted to install: KB5016616
Winver: 21H2 19044.1806
Methods I've tried:
- Sfc/scannow
- DISM commands. (including dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup - repair)
- Control of services via services.msc.
- Clearing the Windows Update cache, settings and restarting. With this: Reset Windows Update in Windows 10
- Windows Update troubleshooter (finds no problems).
- Installing the update via Windows Update Catalog (again not installing).
- Reset BITS.
- Using the 2nd party Windows Update program (GitHub - DavidXanatos/wumgr: Windows update managemetn tool for windows 10).
- Clock, date control.
- SSD disk error checking. (via HDTune)
- SFCfix:
Other than these, I have no idea. There is no CBS.log since the sfc/scannow command couldn't find any corrupted files.
