[SOLVED] Windows Store Down?

I have internet connectivity, but it seems the store is unavailable to me on my Surface as of right now. I was trying to update, 7 apps, as told to me by my live preview on the tileview, but I can't. I currently cannot even install an app. If it is down though, I think it would be more convenient to tell the users whether it's down for maintenance or something, so that an end-user is not having to troubleshoot whether it's a broken internet connection or anything like that. I'll try again in a few hours however. :)

I know this might sound like a stupid question, but it has founding I don't have time to explain now. Do you have any updates pending install over reboot? Try rebooting anyway?

I wouldn't think so, my Surface was actually just rebooted this morning I believe. Nonetheless i'll try again and post back the outcome. :)

Since you are trying to help me troubleshoot by the looks of it, I'm assuming that this is my own problem and that you can access the Windows store, so I guess I will start with the troubleshooting instead of just waiting for a bit lol.

edit: A reboot didn't show that I was configuring any updates before shutdown and on startup... However, for some reason the store is available again.

Well, I didn't actually have the time to check the Windows Store last night. I was just too pushed for time, and had to be elsewhere. So it might have been a Microsoft problem. However, my Surface's Windows Store has broken three times in this way now, and without exception, it was when I had updates pending install over a reboot, and a reboot fixed it.

Now, I have very little evidence to say that this is not just a coincidence, a reboot could fix many problems, but I am slightly suspicious. I shall see whether next patch Tuesday/uninstalling & reinstalling some updates breaks the store again.
