Going to be out for most of today, so I won't get a chance to look over your latest logs till this evening.

Lot of stuff being flagged in your latest log, I think it's going to be sometime later tomorrow before I'm going to be able to put a fix together and get back to you.

Can you please post me a "new" copy of your Components Hive file. We've made quite a few alterations to it since the last one you posted.

  • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Config and locate the COMPONENTS file.
  • Please copy this file to your desktop.
  • Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again.
  • Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To...Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your desktop.
  • The file will likely be too large to upload here, if so please upload to a file sharing service.
  • Examples of services to upload to are WeTransfer and TransferKit and SendFileOnline

Please post me the link to the file

Thanks.

May take me a while to source all the items being flagged in your latest CBS.log, you have at least one update installed on your machine that I do not have on the VM that I've been sourcing files and registry entries from, so unless I can find an alternative source for the items I need, I may need to set up a new VM and update it appropriately, which will of course take time.

Will know better once I've had a good look over your latest Components hive.

OK, there's a whole mass of things being flagged in your latest logs, some new, some that we've already patched, and I'm not entirely sure why the patched items are being flagged again.

So I'm going to have to consult with my colleagues to see if they have any suggestions. May take a while, so I'll get back to you when I have a better idea of how to proceed.

Oh crap!
Then I copied the wrong file to the server.
Sorry about that!!!
Also thanks to @Maxstar

Now SFCFix and DISM run without errors
KB5037782 unfortunately still failed...
