Windows Server 2022 fails to install KB5025230 with error 0x800703f1

Hello,

I have the above problem with a newly installed Windows Server 2022, there the update stops at 3% and then comes the following error:

While searching the net I came across the following thread:Sysnative thread.

I have already collected all the data requested there and will upload it here. Unfortunately I don't know any more and how to solve the problem. Gladly I am also interested in a knowledge transfer if this is possible, if the problem is the same as in the linked thread.

Thanks in advance for the help, should you still need data from me simply report.

PS: unfortunately I can't provide the Process Monitor log as this is well over 2 GB. Also i have the same Problem on another Server.

Step 1. Download

SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.

• Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
• Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
• Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

• SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
• Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
• Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
